Betraying your Italian ancestors with dual citizenship and going to Italy? [VIDEO]

When going through the recognition process for Italian citizenship (Jure Sanguinis) you might find not everybody around you will be supportive. Thankfully I was very lucky to be surrounded by amazing people, but since becoming a part of the greater online comunity of people interested in Italian citizenship by descent I've been seeing how many people are against the idea of Italian dual citizenship through Jure Sanguinis. Why is the subject of the Italian Passport so polarising in the comunity of people that are of Italian descent?
