It's time to compare a very important part of expat life in Portugal vs expat life in Italy... Christmas cakes... what can I say... it's tough but someone's gotta do it. It's been a long time since I've had it and I was very excited to be able to compare and contrast it with one of my favorite Italian Christmas-time treats,Italian panettone, one of my most favorite things about Christmas in Italy.
