Italian Supermarket shopping is all a part of life in Italy. Many people think that Italians only shop at farmers markets, but just like many other developed nations, many people choose to go to their local supermarkets instead. Grocery shopping in Italy isn't too foreign unlike some other places in the world. Making the move to Italy comes with many adjustments, but I've personally found shopping in an Italian supermarket to be quite simple to adjust to, although somethings are in different places than you might expect. It doesn't matter if you're an american in Italy or from someplace else, there's nothing to be afraid of or worry about... other than tripe hahaAll of the ingredients you need to make italian food all in one place ;)One thing is to keep in mind that all over the country people have access to different kinds of Italian supermarkets, this is just an overview of what you can find in the north where I live, but you might find supermarkets in other areas of the country where the prices are lower. Every market in Italy is a little different. Food shopping in Italy isn't rocket science so I'm sure you'll be able to find what you need in a supermarket in Italy ;)This is just a little part of my life in Italy that I wanted to share with those of you who asked to see more of where I live :)
